This policy explains how Blitz Lures LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use the Live Foot Pro Firmware app on iOS or Android and its firmware download service. It covers this app and service, rather than purchases or other activity on separate websites.
- No customer account is required.
- Device discovery and update history are handled locally by the app.
- Our online service processes connection information and app-verification data to protect firmware downloads.
- The app does not contain advertising, advertising trackers, or behavioral analytics.
1. Information handled by the app
Bluetooth and connected equipment. The app reads nearby compatible Bluetooth device names, platform-provided Bluetooth identifiers or addresses, and service information to find and communicate with Live Foot Pro equipment. It uses your selected device and wired connection route to perform the requested update. The app does not automatically upload nearby-device lists or your equipment’s Bluetooth name or address to our firmware service.
Local update history. The app stores up to 100 recent update records on your device. Records may include the selected equipment type, Bluetooth name and identifier, connection route, firmware version and build, timestamps, transfer status, and error or result details. These records describe activity performed through the app; they are not a live reading of the equipment’s running firmware version.
Security and temporary data. The app stores information needed for app verification, including an Apple App Attest key identifier on iOS. Downloaded firmware is processed to check its size, integrity, and compatibility. Download authorization tokens are held temporarily in memory.
2. Information handled by the online service
When the app checks for or downloads firmware, the hosting infrastructure receives normal connection information, including your IP address, the requested resource, request time, and technical request information. We use connection information to deliver files, limit abusive requests, and keep the service secure.
On iOS, we use Apple App Attest to verify legitimate app installations. Our service processes and stores an app-installation key identifier, public-key and attestation verification information, security counters, and temporary challenge and session records. These records are not an Apple ID, customer account, or the serial number of your Live Foot Pro equipment.
Private Android test builds may use a temporary tester access code. The service verifies the code and stores temporary session authorization records. These records are used to authorize downloads, not for advertising.
3. How information is used and shared
We use information to connect to the equipment you select, deliver and validate firmware, record update results, prevent unauthorized downloads and abuse, and respond to support requests. We do not sell personal information or share it for targeted advertising.
Cloudflare provides hosting, R2 file storage, and security infrastructure for the service. Apple provides the App Attest verification technology used on iOS. Those providers may process technical information as part of providing and protecting their services. Their relevant privacy information is available from Cloudflare and Apple. Provider infrastructure may process information outside your country.
If you choose to export a support report or contact us, you control whether to share the report and with whom. A report may contain update-history information, including Bluetooth names and identifiers. Information you send to support, such as your email address, message, and attachments, is used to respond to your request. We may also disclose information when required by applicable law or necessary to protect legal rights or service security.
4. Permissions and your choices
Bluetooth or Nearby Devices permission lets the app find and communicate with equipment. Older Android versions may require Location permission for Bluetooth scanning; the app does not use that permission to obtain GPS coordinates or build a location history. You can revoke permissions in your device’s Settings, although Bluetooth functions will then be unavailable.
The app does not request access to your contacts, photos, microphone, or camera for firmware updates. Where report export is available, the operating system’s file picker lets you choose where to save the report.
5. Retention and deletion
- Update history: retained locally, with older records replaced when the 100-record limit is reached. Deleting the app’s data removes these local records. On iOS, choose Delete App rather than Offload App. Device or cloud backups and exported reports may retain separate copies under your control.
- IP-based rate limits: our verification service uses a hashed IP-derived lookup and a short-lived request counter. Its cleanup is scheduled about two minutes after the latest rate-limit request.
- Challenges and sessions: authorization is valid for up to five minutes. Expiration prevents further use, but does not necessarily immediately remove stored records. Unregistered challenges and private Android test sessions have scheduled cleanup; records associated with registered iOS app keys can remain until overwritten or manually removed.
- Registered iOS verification records: the current service does not automatically expire these records. They remain until manually removed for support, security, or a verified deletion request. Deleting the app does not automatically delete server-side verification records.
- Support correspondence: retained as needed to handle the request, related follow-up, and applicable legal obligations. Hosting-provider operational records are governed by the provider’s applicable retention practices.
To ask about access to or deletion of information we hold, contact us using the address below. We may need additional information to locate an app-verification record or verify a request, because the service does not associate those records with a customer account or email address. Do not send passwords, access codes, or authorization tokens. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy law.
6. Security
The app uses HTTPS for firmware downloads and verifies downloaded firmware before installation. Access to protected downloads requires app or tester verification. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.
7. Children
This app is intended for owners and operators of compatible marine equipment and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can investigate and address it.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app or service changes. The current policy and its effective date will be published at this address.
